#9.) I have to give myself a slight mulligan here. When I put together this list, I was working for a company in which I was out at bars and clubs almost every night. Liquor and beer was a constant flow especially living only blocks away from all of these drunk filled establishments. Every year I liked taking a month off from drinking. Usually I would pick February since it is the shortest month.
Since I do not work for them anymore and have moved to the other side of Wilmington, I very rarely drink anything. I might have a beer a month and honestly cannot remember the last time I was even drunk.
My goal with this was to slow my drinking down and in essence I have done just that. So I shall scratch this from my list as an accomplished goal.

#41.) Finished reading up one of my grandfather's books. 'Tales of an Octogenarian' has some great stories from his 80th year in life. I happen to be included which is pretty sick. There is a short story on my graduation form UNCW. There was a story about how he needed to visit my grandma while she was in the hospital butt the nurses only allowed one guest at a time. He explains how he snuck in and then fussed about finding her purse realizing that if he was complaining about something missing, they wouldn't kick him out even though there was another visitor. It is just funny that at 80, he is still hustling.

The five I have read so far:
  1. The Chinese Walking Stick
  2. Lazarus: From Seven to Seventy-Seven
  3. The Edge at Beach Head
  4. Tales of an Octogenarian
  5. The Purse in the Muff

#43.) Just finished reading my 3rd out of 3rd motivational book. It is entitled "Strengths Finder 2.0" and focuses on having somebody focus their mind onto their strengths to improve on those talents instead of attempting to create a talent. I am terrible at selling butt great at numbers and organization so I should focus my energy into a field where those are the main characteristics you need.
During reading this book, I am honestly considering getting some extra schooling and pursuing a career in the accounting and finance field. I would say this book motivated me quite a bit.

My 3 motivational books were:
  1. Think and Grow Rich
  2. Real Estate Investing in your 20's
  3. Strengths Finder 2.0

#31.) As for some music, I have been playing through Pandora pretty intensely. I think that will be the only way I find any music on my own because I do not really read about the bands I like and I do not talk music with any friends. My first pick for music that I found on my own is:
-Regina Spektor
She has such a relaxing tone and reminds me of Feist who had that happy song on one of the IPod commercials a while back.

#23.) I have actually already scratched this one off butt I remade my Excel document to be more efficient both visually and operationally. It took me a few hours butt my Excel finance document is sick. I have data bars on each column so I can see where I spend the most in each category. I have icons that tell me if I am over my budget in a certain category. I have nice looking tables that total up each category plus add to the totals of the month. It looks real jazzy and I am considering replugging in my data from the past few years. I think Ima have to be real bored to do that though.

#70.) Taylor had a 1920's themed birthday party the other night so I was able to dress up in a costume on a day other than Halloween. I really wanted to dress up in one of those old fashioned 1920's one piece bathing suits that the dudes used to wear; maybe throwing on a thick mustache. I think for putting my costume together in one night, it came out pretty jazzy.

#42.) With that last read, I finished 4 for 4 information books:
  1. How to Win Friends and Influence People
  2. The Art of the Short Sale
  3. Loopholes of the Rich
  4. How to Make Millions with your Ideas
#42.) Finished up another information book. It was a book I found in the self help section of Barnes and Nobles so you may thing it is more of a motivational book butt it is entitled "How To Win Friends and Influence People". Since it is a 'how to' book, I put it into the information book category.

I would have to recommend this book to anybody. It teaches you how to respond to any situation whether you are a professional trying to improve your leadership skills or trying to get your kid's grades to improve. It is definitely a book I will read through a second time. As I read it, I felt invincible; like nothing could stop me from getting my way.

#12.) While I had the hard drive backing up my files, I also decided to add my photos from Lazyday onto it. I had previously saved all my photos up to the end of 2008 on a c.d. and since I quit early in the year of 2009, I did not have many more photos of myself on the website.
Photos of myself from 2005 through 2009 are now saved...1,154 of them

I figured I could cross this one off now because I will rarely be on Lazyday anymore since I hardly go out. It is funny skimming through them because in a sense, I had part of my youth documented. I was out 5 nights a week hanging out with friends. I had a good run with it and it will all be missed butt I love being able to look back on it and I am ready to move on from it.
#11.) A few days before Christmas of 2009, my computer crashed. I even took it to a few places and they gave me quotes in the $100's to fix it. I even had one guy tell me that I would lose all of my files and that there was no way around it! This angered me due to the fact that a few months earlier, my other computer crashed. I have been meaning to get myself an external harddrive for the longest time butt never gathered up the cash to put down for one. Two computer crashes later, I finally get one from my mother on Christmas. LAAAA!!!!

A week or two earlier, I was telling my mom how my computer crashed and I had no files left not knowing her gift to me. Luckily Ash's friend's boyfriend knew a thing or two about computers and gave it a quick one two and restored 90% of my files. He also gave me some upgrades which is good.

Finally! My computer is back up and running and is connected to an external hard drive that will back up my files at 10pm everyday. I also took all my cds from over the years and put them all onto the hard drive as well as the files from my lap top. I have 1TB of space and do not think I can ever fill that which is good. Now I need to make sure my house does not catch on fire.
